Christmas gift to ensure Teesdale lunch club parties go with a swing

Posted on December 15, 2016 by Unknown
CHRISTMAS parties across the dale will go with an extra swing thanks to a £500 gift from Teesdale Lions Club.
As a result, each of the dale’s ten lunch clubs will receive £50 to help towards the cost of food, decorations and crackers.
Ann Richards, Teesdale Lions Club welfare officer and lunch club leader at Woodland, said: “It means we can push the boat out a bit this time.”
Pictured is Pat Asquith, financial administrator with Teesdale Day Clubs, receiving the cheque for £500 from Jeff Dobson, president of Teesdale Lions Club, watched by Peter Wood, chairman of the day clubs and Ann Richards.
