Praise be... Christmas Eve service returns to Hutton Magna

Posted on December 18, 2016 by Unknown
HUTTON Magna will hold its first Christmas Eve service for about 40 years.
The last time it was held was when the village had its own vicar but changes since have meant that the church’s area has been extended to other villages.
Revd Antony Kirby is now the priest in charge of Barningham with Hutton Magna and Wycliffe and Gilling with Kirkby Ravensworth.
He will take the Christmas Eve service at Hutton Magna’s church at 11.30pm.
Marion Lewis, from the congregation, said villagers were pleased to be able to attend their own midnight service.
