Light show and fireworks add sparkle to Barnard Castle lights switch-on

Posted on December 03, 2016 by Unknown

DESPITE persistent drizzle, a large crowd turned out to see Barnard Castle's Christmas tree lights switched on by Santa last night (Friday).
Among the highlights were a short Dickens-themed film projected into the windows of Woodleigh, on Scar Top followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
There was also a performance by the Barnard Castle Band, a laser light show and storytelling, while a snow globe proved popular with youngsters.
