£300 donation will help Middleton group blossom

Posted on December 16, 2016 by Unknown
A COFFEE morning was held recently at the Masonic Hall, in aid of Middleton in Bloom, at which county councillors Ted Henderson and Richard Bell presented a donation of £300 from their members’ initiative fund.
Presenting the cheque, Cllr Bell praised the hard work of the award-winning group.
He added: “Other prize-winning town displays in the county are either funded or directly created by the council, so Middleton’s achievement being the work of volunteers is especially notable.
"It is only right therefore, that we  give it a bit of support, and our best wishes for next summer."
